Eight Beat Measure is having auditions
Think you have what it takes?
Eight Beat Measure will be performing at numerous events during the Week-Of-Welcome. During this time new
students will have the chance to see all of RIT's Vocal Ensembles
perform. Check out our events, and Facebook pages to find out where you can see 8 Beat on campus.
A Cappella auditions begin the first week of classes for all aspiring
members. After a mandatory two hour rehearsal with the RIT
Singers, RIT's only
combined ensemble (and one credit class), the first round of auditions
occurs. RIT Singers rehearsal takes place on Thursdays, from 7-9pm in the SAU Music
Room (SAU Basement).
The fun begins Friday, as the groups plan an entire week of social
events and informational sessions for all prospective a cappella
singers to attend, so that you guys get to know us better.
One week later, the Thrusday of week two, there is a second series of
auditions.
And that's it! - Future members will be notified within 2 days of
auditions.
